Written in pen at the top of this menu: Thursday, July 20, 1967 This diner (3 four place tables) is part of the Pullman. This menu was used on the Union Pacific's Butte Special that ran between Butte, MT, Ogden, UT and Salt Lake City, UT as Pullman Line 679. It was unique in that Pullman converted two 6 section, 6 roomette and 4 double bedroom cars to 4 sec., 6 rmt 4 dbr snack bar cars offering more food than a typical lounge car, but less than a buffet or diner. The Menu code of UP2-S-3C-B67 tells us that 300 copies (3C) were printed in February 1967 (B67). |
